About Our Program
Our Preschool consists of two classes- K-1 and K-2 which we divide according to age and readiness styles. The preshool age is an important and integral time when children are ready to explore the world around them and learn new and amazing things! RCA's Program strives to balance and combine play with learning for a truly unique Pre-Kindergarten experience.
We endeavor to meet each student on their own level and present many different types of learning activities to go with all learning styles! This is why we keep our classroom sizes small as well as the teacher to child ratio. This gives our teachers more of a chance to spend time with each child, helping them step by step with learning aspects!
CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is based on ABEKA ( a Christian curriculum based on practical applications for teaching intertwined with faith foundations) and supplemented with various learning centers and games, hands on discovery projects and themes and so much more!
Our teachers work hard to incorporate fun Themes throughout the school year as well as hosting special events and get-togethers, Field Trips and Programs and we consider it very important to include our families and parents in the fun!
Another important goal at Rowlett Christian Academy is keeping families apprised of their child's growth through Progress Reports. Our reports are detailed and give you the chance to see how much your child is learning and growing and also it gives you the chance to focus on areas which your child can work on.
